right now i'm studying for a big big exam. well, not right now. i'm distracting myself with a blog post. to be completely correct, i'm taking a study break from studying for a big big big career altering exam. it has been exhausting - but then again, so has all of grad school so far.
it's all making me a little looney. in one day, i can oscillate from being super over the top excited about the possibility of doing well to chest-pain-and-panicky-dread about how i'm definitely no question about it 100% going to fail. the mind games i'm playing make me wonder how the average student holds it together - what are the tricks to being motivated, focused, and effective during a [seemingly] nonstop parade of marathon study days? and furthermore, how does one make room for things like cooking dinner and walking the dog and trying to get in shape for a 5k?
i guess the first step is to go study some more.
